Leib is run by two professional foodies - a Chef and a Sommelier.

Leib means black bread in Estonian and we have chosen it to be our name for a reason! Good old local black bread – fresh, warm, simple, and honest – it’s what we, Estonians, grow up with and what we dream about when away. And that´s what we are, really.

Since 99% of our products are local and coming mostly from small organic farmers - Leib is a true carrier of our values.

We prepare local food from ingredients around us. Our menu is always seasonal, therefore it changes about 8 times a year. Our beverage selection has to match our menu. We pair all our dishes with wines and craft beers. We love to have fun, therefore we even brew our own beer and make hand-made schnapps.

Janno Lepik

Janno uses high-quality, fresh and seasonal raw materials and cook them with heart – that´s what matters! 

One of our owners, Kristjan is a Sommelier and supported by two and talented sommeliers Oskar and Ketri. This team is full of energy and love to have fun in competitions.

Kristjan is a winner of Estonian and Baltic Sommelier championship, Ketri was selected Best Young Sommelier in Baltics in 2015 and a best runner up in Estonian competition in 2015. Oskar became the best Beer Sommelier in 2015. Kristjan started as a home brewer, today we are brewing our own beers under Hopster brand.
